Is your site losing people right now?

Type your address. We run Google's own PageSpeed test on the mobile version of your site and show you the score in about twenty seconds. No sign-up.

Google tests your site on a mid-range phone over a mobile connection, the way most of your customers see it.

What the test does. And what it doesn’t.

Our server hands your address to Google PageSpeed Insights. Google loads the public page once, as a mid-range phone on a throttled mobile connection, and scores what it sees.

It is one simulated visit, so the score moves a few points between runs. A big change means something changed.

What the score actually measures

The four numbers And what good looks like.

Main content visibleLargest Contentful Paint
Google’s “good”≤ 2.5 s
When the biggest thing on the screen, usually the hero image or headline, appears. Most visitors decide whether to stay around this moment.
First paintFirst Contentful Paint
Google’s “good”≤ 1.8 s
When anything at all appears. Until then the visitor stares at a blank screen.
Blocked timeTotal Blocking Time
Google’s “good”≤ 200 ms
How long the page is too busy running scripts to respond to a tap. It carries the most weight in the score.
Layout shiftCumulative Layout Shift
Google’s “good”≤ 0.1
How much the page jumps while loading. A high number means buttons move just as people try to tap them.

Speed is one of five. We check all of them.

  1. Slow to show anything
  2. Something in the way: popups, banners, cookie walls
  3. A headline that says nothing
  4. No obvious next step
  5. Details that say “cheap”

Before you ask.

Is it really free?

Yes. It runs Google’s public PageSpeed test. No sign-up, no email address.

Do you store my address or result?

No. Our server passes the address to Google and returns the result to you. It is held in memory for up to ten minutes, so a repeat check is instant, and is never saved.

Why is my desktop score higher?

The desktop test uses a fast computer and connection. Most of your customers are on phones, so we show the mobile result.

Why did I get a different score this time?

Each run is a single simulated visit; servers, scripts and the test machine vary. Look at the trend and at the four numbers rather than a single run.

The check says Google is busy. What now?

Google limits how often the free test can run. Try again in a minute, or send us the link and we will check it by hand.

Tell us about it.

A few lines is enough. A person reads every message and replies by email.
